About
What is SMACS?
SMACS (Student Members of the American Chemical Society) is the UCLA student chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the world’s largest scientific society. We are an on-campus student group that is open to undergraduate and graduate students of all majors.
What do you do?
We are a laid-back club that has weekly meetings involving professional and academic development, green chemistry, service events, and more relating to the field of chemistry. We also hold socials and other various events throughout the quarter.

When and where are meetings?
We have meetings each quarter in 2033 Young Hall on Wednesdays from 6-7 pm. Follow our Instagram and join our Discord and mailing list (which can be found at the top) to stay updated!
